On My Bookshelf
Like my life and my children, this page is a work in progress. I’ll try to update it periodically, but just because I share a book here doesn’t necessarily mean I’ve cracked its spine open much or even started to read it yet (although some of the books listed probably have been voraciously read and enjoyed!). What it does mean is that I’ve purchased it, borrowed it, downloaded it on my Kindle, and/or checked it out from the library and that I do have a desire to read it.
You can also peruse my posts with “Books” tagged to them. Or, check out some of my media reviews.
Finally, I’ve included a sampling of some of my favorite books arranged by categories like parenting, homeschooling, cookbooks, fiction, and good for the soul over at my Amazon store.
Currently On My Nightstand:
Happy Catholic: Glimpses of God in Everyday Life
Hope, Help, and Healing for Eating Disorders: A New Approach to Treating Anorexia, Bulimia, and Overeating (This link is actually for the Kindle version. I have the real thing, but I couldn’t find it on Amazon.)
Downloaded to My Kindle:
The 10 Habits of Happy Mothers: Reclaiming Our Passion, Purpose, and Sanity
One Thousand Gifts: A Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are
What I’ve Been Reading Aloud to the Girls:
And of course lots and lots of picture books! Here are just a few of our perennial favorites:
Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale
Jan Brett’s Town Mouse, Country Mouse
