Today as we were leaving Nana and Pop’s house (we stopped by to cheer up Nana, who dislocated her shoulder on Saturday and is stuck in a sling), Pop waved to Madeline and said, “See you later, Alligator.”
“I’m not an alligator,” she replied with a furrowed brow. “I’m a big sister.”
Clearly, Madeline takes her new role very seriously.
