Catholic Carnival 208: Prayers

Here’s a link to the latest addition of the Catholic Carnival. The theme is fitting for me, as I’ve been thinking (praying!) quite a bit about my current prayer life, what prayer has meant to me in the past and what it should mean, and how I can cultivate a stronger prayer life in this season of my life (AKA as a pregnant mom of two little ones).

Once I can transform my mush of a brain into something somewhat capable of communicating worthwhile thoughts, I’ll tackle the subject. Until then, enjoy the profundity of others.

Hi, I’m Kate

I'm the author of two nonfiction books Getting Past Perfect and Weightless, a storyteller*, overthinker, eating disorder survivor, mom of five, book junkie, socially awkward nerd as well as a speaker (so basically a walking and talking contradiction), and a perfectionist in recovery.

I am currently working towards my MFA in Fiction at Warren Wilson. Thank you to everyone who has read my drafts, offered feedback, and cheered me on. The writing life is often solitary, but I wouldn’t be here without a community of support.

*Some BODY to Love story for Rabbit Box
