Do you have a favorite heirloom recipe that nourishes both the body and the soul?
I’m working on an article for Faith & Family, the magazine of Catholic living, and want to share readers’ fave comfort food recipes – preferably the ones passed down from Grandma.
If you have a recipe that you think might fit, please email me at kmwicker [at] gmail [dot] com.
NOTE: The recipes need to either be original or adapted. If adapted, please include its source of origin (cookbook title, etc.).
Thanks!

My mom used to make the most incredible thing ever – “Cowboy Dumplings.”
They were these awesome chunks of goodness smothered in chicken gravy, with tons of paprika. I’ve been begging her to make them for years, and she won’t do it! (She just doesn’t cook anymore…)
I’ll see if I can get the recipe!

Kate, can you give me a deadline that I need to get the recipes to you by? thanks, roz (aka bella)
Kate Wicker says
Thanks, Bella! If folks can submit any recipes for consideration by next Wednesday, February 25th, that would be great.
God bless!

That's fine, Bella! Please be sure to include a brief anecdote/memory with your recipe. In other words, what makes this dish a comfort food in your life?
God bless, and thank you for sharing your foodie inclinations with Faith & Family!
