We had a busy weekend. Not only did we celebrate Rae’s second birthday (snapshots capturing the birthday girl in all her glory are below), but we also welcomed M.E. into God’s family on Saturday. It was a beautiful ceremony and a memorable day.
Happy Baptismal Day, Mary Elizabeth!

Really nice and cute! Especially the cakes! Really creative. Why the elephant cake? And why didn't I think of a cross-shaped cake on my son's baptismal cake? Oh, I remember, we just bought a typical cake because it was rushed.
Welcome to the Christian world M.E!

Animal cakes are a tradition from my husband's family. His grandmother used to make animal cakes for all of the grandchildren and for his mom growing up. An elephant cake was a perfect choice since our Rae loves them (her favorite loveys are two stuffed elephants).
Blessings!

My mom turned her wedding gown into a Baptismal dress for all her grandchildren too – such a great idea!
Welcome to our Catholic family, M.E., and Happy Birthday Rae!
