To all my loyal readers who have been patiently waiting for me to emerge from the blogging dead, don’t get your hopes up just yet. The same goes for anyone new who miraculously lands here after googling “hazardous waste removal,” “extended breastfeeding,” or “homeschool failure” and is hoping for new content. Hang in there, okay?
Seriously, I look back on how much I used to write, and I can’t for the life of me figure out how I had the time to do it and feed my children, but I assure you they were not starved.
I present you with exhibits A, B, C, & D as evidence.
A – Child #1
B – Child #2 (don’t let her serious expression fool you. She’s had her fill.)
C- Child #3
D -Child #4
Don’t believe this:
He was and still is insatiable.
(I’m not going to lie. Perusing through these old photos left me a little bit teary-eyed. I’m enjoying the stage I’m in, but I do miss those chunk-style babies, nursing them, hearing them giggle, and just the exhausting yet simple life we led holed up in our house.)
My kids do require more elaborate meals these days. And after all the soccer games, my oldest plays, she’s a bottomless pit.
But, anyway, as you can see my website has gotten a whole new look and it’s my goal and hope that once my book manuscript is submitted in just a few short months I’ll be writing a little more regularly again for this online space. I also have plans to launch a newsletter with the sole purpose of encouraging mothers to embrace the messiness of life and to find the balance in keeping it real and keeping it joyful.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and thank you for your patience. Please stay tuned!
