Thanks to Dave’s thorough research and the recommendation of Jessie, we have welcomed four neon tetras (including one tiny baby who made it into the pet store bag by accident) to our family.
Madeline has chosen the following names for her new pets: Flower, Leaf, Star, and Sam. Poor Baby Rae is still going to be mixed up, thinking a fish is a leaf or a flower is a fish or something like that. At least, the name Sam shouldn’t lead to any verbal blunders.
Now, if these die, I am going to feel terrible about suggesting them!
(and how bad is it that we don’t even have names for our 6 fish??)
