Preschooler while watching an educational DVD she received for Christmas: Dora’s really weird.
Me: Why?
Preschooler: She yells too loud.
As if on cue, we hear the enthusiastic explorer yelling very loudly: “Backpack!” To make matters worse, she asks my child to yell “backpack” with her.
Dora was one of the main reasons I decided to cancel our cable service. I’d usually start twitching halfway into the show. ;)
