And the winners are…

Thanks to everyone who entered my recent Easter Giveaway. Thanks to everyone who reads (endures) my rambling period. The nifty Random.org helped me choose the lucky winners. I’ve listed them below. If I had an email address, I’ve contacted you (or will be emailing shortly). If not, I need you to shoot me an email with your mailing address. Due to some family circumstances I probably won’t get the prizes out to you until mid-May. I’m sorry about that, but you’ll have something to look forward to, right?

Have a good day!

  • The chic nursing cover goes to Jenny M.
  • The adorable baby hat goes to Amanda.
  • Janet will receive an item from Catholic Family Gifts
  • Meg Mackintosh and the Mystery at Camp Creepy: A Solve-It-Yourself Mystery (Meg Mackintosh Mystery series)
    goes to Crystal H.
  • I Just Can’t Take It Anymore!: Encouragement When Life Gets You Down goes to Michele F.
  • The Song of Prayer: A Practical Guide to Gregorian Chant goes to Jocelyn
  • Mommy Power: Discovering Your Mommy Strength goes to Mary McCarthy
  • And an autographed copy of Weightless: Making Peace With Your Body goes to Julie

Congratulations!!!

Oh how neat!! I just wanted to let you know that while I had intended to do that video, I never got to it (obviously! LOL :)) Life happened, including my almost 10 yr old “accidentally” swallowing a quarter!

You won fair and square. ;-). But if you ever get around to doing a YouTube video, I’d like to be in the know.

Oh, and hope your son is okay. When I was little, I told my younger brother to eat a nickel. I didn’t think he really would and started to panic when he just popped it into his mouth. Fortunately, he was fine, but I never told him to do anything too stupid ever again! :-)

Oh and he’s ok, but unfortunately it may take a month to *ahem* pass. Had a 3rd x-ray Monday to make sure. Now we wait. And most likely get another X-ray in a few weeks. I think it might be a “boy thing” to put things in the mouth! Good thing we’ve got three boys ;) lol

    Hi Kate,

Thanks so much and I’m so excited I won something!! I will be emailing my physcial address. Have a blessed Sunday!

Hi, I’m Kate

I'm the author of two nonfiction books Getting Past Perfect and Weightless, a storyteller*, overthinker, eating disorder survivor, mom of five, book junkie, socially awkward nerd as well as a speaker (so basically a walking and talking contradiction), and a perfectionist in recovery.

I am currently working towards my MFA in Fiction at Warren Wilson. Thank you to everyone who has read my drafts, offered feedback, and cheered me on. The writing life is often solitary, but I wouldn’t be here without a community of support.
