Opposites and Authors

I had the opportunity to chat with Danielle Bean and Lisa Hendey on the most recent Faith & Family Podcast. We chatted about whether or not opposites attract in our own marriages as well as divulged what we’ve been reading and what books we plan to crack open during Lent. Join the conversation here. Love is in the Air(Waves)

Yesterday I had the opportunity to chat with Elizabeth and Lisa on the Faith & Famly Podcast. It was an episode all about love and marriage just in time for Valentine’s Day. Elizabeth shares how she makes these delicious-looking Valentine’s Dots with her kids (yum and so pretty!). And I come off sounding like aRead the whole post >>

Staying Organized & Beating the Winter Blues

Meaningful Chitchat

I had the opportunity to chat with two of my favorite mom writers yesterday on the Faith & Family LIVE podcast. (And boy was it fun!) Hi, I’m Kate

I'm the author of two nonfiction books Getting Past Perfect and Weightless, a storyteller*, overthinker, eating disorder survivor, mom of five, book junkie, socially awkward nerd as well as a speaker (so basically a walking and talking contradiction), and a perfectionist in recovery.

I am currently working towards my MFA in Fiction at Warren Wilson. Thank you to everyone who has read my drafts, offered feedback, and cheered me on. The writing life is often solitary, but I wouldn’t be here without a community of support.
